Port Fairy Tourism Inc. (PFT)
About Port Fairy Tourism
The Port Fairy Tourism Inc. is a volunteer run group representing the needs and working on behalf of Port Fairy’s tourism industry.
Port Fairy Tourism Inc. has been an incorporated association since 1985 and comprises of a voluntary executive committee who meet monthly, and a number of subcommittees, focussing on Marketing, Events, The Port Fairy Destination Action Plan and Partnership engagement.
The Port Fairy Tourism Inc. has a commercial partnership with Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism, which recognises GORRT marketing partners located in Port Fairy as members of PFT. This partnership also returns 20% of the investment in marketing products with GORRT to the Port Fairy Tourism Inc. to spend on local tourism initiatives and implementing the Port Fairy Destination Action Plan.
The Port Fairy Tourism Inc. Auspices the Port Fairy Vintage Weekends and Port Fairy Winter Weekends.
We work closely and collaboratively with Moyne Shire Council, The Visitor Information Centre and Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism. The official tourism website www.iamportfairy.com.au is part of the Great Ocean Road digital platform and connected to the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse, where business and event listings are published. We encourage all events to list for free on ATDW for maximum exposure, and encourage businesses to partner with GORRT to promote on this platform. The website has a very large audience and showcases credible information, stories and inspiration for those planning to visit Port Fairy.
