VOLCANIC LAKES AND PLAINS – COBDEN, CAMPERDOWN, TERANG AND SURROUNDS
CORANGAMITE Shire Council has welcomed over $70,000 in funding from the State Government to help further build secure futures for the districts communities.
Council has received two separate grants from the Stronger Regional Communities Plan.

Mayor Jo Beard said a $50,000 grant has been earmarked for a promotion aimed at boosting the local economies in Cobden, Camperdown, Terang and Timboon following the St Patrick’s Day devastation.  Council will contribute $8,000 cash and $8,000 of in-kind support.
“Campaigns will be developed for each town, including social media, digital displays, and advertising, to encourage visitors to come to those four towns to shop, stay longer and make the most of the other opportunities our great communities have to offer.

Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism is excited to work with Corangamite shire council  and help them to leverage from our current ‘I Am Where Stories Unfold’ campaign .
