Do you have a creative idea that can breathe new life into buildings, or unused sites across the Great Ocean Road region?
A project that can increase visitation to the most unlikely areas and have the potential to become major cultural tourist attractions?
The Creative Activation Fund has funding of between $40,000 and $300,000 available to support the delivery of creative projects like:
- Public art that responds to the natural landscape
- Creative interventions that breathe new life into buildings, silos or unused sites
- Large-scale murals and sculptures
- Digital activation that could bring sites ‘to life’ using cutting-edge technology through Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.
To ensure long-term impacts for the visitor economy, the program will focus on projects that promote visitation all year round and have at least a three-year life span. The program does not support the planning and delivery of events or festivals.
